Our loss of balance starts at around age 45 and it can wane quite rapidly if we do nothing to challenge and improve our balance. Research has linked the inability to stand on one leg to a greater risk of falls and to cognitive decline. The workshop will have a strong focus on glute strength, which is key to stabilising a standing balancing pose, as are strong feet and ankles. However, in Yoga we don't just balance on our feet 😉 Some arm balances may be explored.........
